About Scotty
We build the agents that keep the work running, so the people around them can go further.
In 1966, a television starship set out for the unknown.
On the bridge, the captain got the glory.
Below deck, the chief engineer kept the whole ship alive.
When the crew needed more power, more time, a way out, Scotty found it.
Never on the poster. Always in the engine room.
Then we came down to Earth
To the edge of the Atlantic, where waves
don’t do small.
Down the coast from our office in Aveiro, Nazaré throws up the biggest waves on the planet. Surfers come from everywhere to ride them.
We’re 27 wavemakers across Aveiro and Utrecht, and that wave is a useful reminder for all of us. Small thinking is a self-fulfilling prophecy. So we think in Nazaré sizes: about what agents can do, about what our clients can become, and about what we owe the people who trust us with their work.
Our mission
Give people their time back,
for the things technology can’t do.
How we work
Rules of the
engine room.
i.
We drink our own champagne.
Every process at Scotty that an agent can run, an agent runs. One of our SDRs is an agent.
ii.
We play like a team.
The kind that keeps score.
We work hard, hold each other to it and celebrate the wins out loud. When we lose, we find out why and fix it.
iii.
We apply the future today.
We build for what agents will do tomorrow, with the tools that work today.

Our chief engineer
Reiner Bruns.

[A line from Reiner, in his own words, about why Scotty exists.]
Spent a decade building conversational AI for global companies, at IPsoft and EPAM, before deciding the agents should do the work, not just talk about it.
